BANYUL-WARRI PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

Banyul-Warri Playground delivers more than expected in this quiet Torquay location, where the real star attraction is an impressive skate park featuring partial undercover sections for Victorian weather. The undercover barbecue area handles family needs efficiently, while expansive parkland provides plenty of space for kids to roam. Modern unisex and disability-accessible toilets show thoughtful council planning, though maintenance can be inconsistent - you might find empty toilet paper dispensers during busy periods. The combination of traditional playground equipment and serious skating facilities creates an unusual mix that keeps various age groups entertained. While not glamorous, it's a practical spot where families can claim their patch of grass and teenagers can practice their tricks under the same roof.
